How phone number rental works
A rented number belongs to your account for a fixed period and receives every SMS sent to it. Here is the whole path from sign-up to the last message.
Create your account
Press Create account. Your browser makes an access token; copy it or save it as a text file, tick the box and the account is ready. Sign in on any device with the same token.
Add credit
Open Add credit and press the button. The secure PayGate window shows the amount cards, the coins and the address. Credit appears after the network confirms the payment. Your first top-up of $100 or more gets a bonus.
Rent a number
Choose one of 41 countries and a period of 3, 7, 15 or 30 days. The price is taken from your credit and the number is shown at once in My numbers.
Receive SMS
Enter the number in any app or website. Each SMS appears in the inbox of that number with the sender, the full text and the code highlighted, so you can copy it with one click.
Extend or let it end
Before the end date, press Extend and add another period at the normal price. If you do nothing, the rental ends at the date shown and the inbox history stays in your account.
Cancel if nothing arrives
When no SMS has arrived within 20 minutes of renting, cancel the number and the full price returns to your credit.
Rented number or one-time code?
A one-time code number serves a single app for a few minutes. A rented number stays with you for days or weeks, so the same number can receive the first code, later sign-in codes and account recovery messages. Choose renting when you want to keep using the account.
